From the tiny window of a rugged fishing ship, little Tuki the penguin sits trapped inside a cold metal cage.
He was taken—captured by a greedy fisherman—right after trying to save his best friend, Sora.
Sora, the clever seagull, had been diving for her favorite fish. She always waited near the fishermen's nets, grabbing the biggest catch without needing to plunge into the freezing water.
But she never saw Tuki climb aboard to rescue her…
Now, the sea and ice drift farther and farther from view, and Tuki is left with one painful truth:
He’s all alone.
A Spark of Thought
But Tuki is no ordinary penguin. His spirit refuses to give in.
Sitting in that cage, he starts thinking: “How can I escape?”
He remembers the red backpack Sora gave him for his journey—a bag filled with helpful tools.
But then the painful realization hits: he left it behind on the ice before jumping into the ocean to save her.

A Greedy Reaction
The fisherman, groggy from sleep, rushes up.
“What is it now!?”
“That penguin… he stole my lifeboat!” the captain shouts.
The fisherman’s eyes widen as he spots Tuki in the distance.
Suddenly, the penguin isn’t just some exotic bird to sell—
He’s a golden ticket.
Without hesitation, the fisherman races to the harpoon cannon, loads it, and aims.
The Shot
Tuki hears the alarms. He sees the spotlight following him.
He paddles faster, breath frantic.
Then—
BOOM!
A harpoon launches into the sky, connected to a thick rope.
CRACK!
It slams into the lifeboat.
The rope goes taut.
Tuki is pulled back toward the ship. He clings to the boat, torn—jump into the water?
